The San Joaquin Valley is unique in many ways, especially its people. They are kind, strong, and incredibly diverse. Such a diverse community presents unique health challenges. This is why Inspire Health Medical Group providers are at the forefront of advanced medicine to best serve our community. For more than 45 years as Central California Faculty Medical Group, and now as Inspire Health Medical Group, we have worked with hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Central Valley to provide the highest quality care to patients close to home. To us, medicine is an art inspired by the people of this Valley.
The reason for this new identity is simple: The great work we have done is the foundation for what we hope to accomplish in the future. This identity reflects and connects our mission of advancing healthcare for the diverse communities of the Valley because our inspired physicians draw their inspiration from one place—you!

WHO WE ARE
In 1979, a group of 38 physicians banded together to advance healthcare and medical education in the San Joaquin Valley. Together they formed Central California Faculty Medical Group to work at the county hospital and teach the next generation of healthcare leaders through the UCSF School of Medicine regional campus in Fresno. This combination of patient care, teaching, and research opportunities attracted top physicians to the Central Valley.
Since then, private practice sites were built and new clinical partnerships were formed so that these physicians could see patients in rural health clinics and hospitals, ensuring specialty medical care for patients across the Valley.
Our providers continue to deliver the same world-class specialty care you have received and expect from us under a new identity: Inspire Health Medical Group.
WHERE WE ARE HEADED
As the largest independent multispecialty medical group in the Central Valley, we are proud to provide the expert care patients need close to home. With more than 80 medical specialties and subspecialties represented in our ranks of providers, patients can receive the care they need without having to travel hundreds of miles. Inspire Health is excited to welcome at least 50 new providers in critically needed specialties such as infectious disease, endocrinology, psychiatry, and more between July 2024 and July 2025.
Additionally, our doctors are the very people who teach, guide, and mentor the next generation of healthcare leaders. In collaboration with UCSF School of Medicine, our physicians serve as the faculty for the residency and fellowship programs at its regional campus in Fresno.

Our future is bright with the continuous expansion of our services and the deepening of our commitment to theWe’re excited to announce that in 2025, we’ll be expanding access to care in Clovis with the opening of new facilities, including a family practice, pediatric practice, general surgery practice, and imaging services.
INNOVATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
We are continually exploring new ways to improve patient outcomes through research and the adoption of the latest medical technologies. Our commitment to innovation extends beyond the clinical setting and into the community. Our providers regularly participate in local events like the Liver Expo, Women’s Heart Fair, CHAMPIONS Health Fair, Central California Women’s Conference, and World Sleep Expo.
Similarly, our physicians participate in peer-to-peer events like continuing medical education seminars, trauma symposiums, and conventions to educate and empower fellow providers.
By fostering a culture of health, we aim to make a lasting impact on the overall well-being of the Valley’s residents.
