Simran Patel, PA, is a physician assistant specializing in trauma surgery.
She began her educational career at Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan where she earned her bachelor’s degree in genomics and molecular genetics. At that time, she also pursued a minor in environmental studies and sustainability. Simran then went on to receive her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
During her time at Wayne State University, she completed clinical rotations in general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and emergency medicine.
Simran is a member of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
