Infectious Disease

Shirisha Pasula, MD, is fellowship trained and board certified in internal medicine with a specialty in infectious disease.

Dr. Pasula began her educational career by earning her medical degree at Kakatiya Medical College in Warangal, Telangana, India. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, to further her education and complete her internal medicine residency at the Good Samaritan Hospital. Shortly after, she pursued her infectious disease fellowship at Detriot Medical Centre through Wayne State University.

Her professional interests include education, as she previously held a graduate medical education subcommittee member appointment. Dr. Pasula also had the professional appointment of section director of infectious disease and peer review committee member in Ohio. In addition, her research publications expand on her infectious disease background with works involving COVID-19, HIV, and autoimmune diseases.

Dr. Pasula also speaks Telugu.
