Shannon Liang, MD, MS, is board certified in psychiatry and neurology with special qualifications in child neurology.
Dr. Liang began her educational career at University of California, Berkeley, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology. She then moved to Washington, DC, for her master’s degree in physiology and biophysics at Georgetown University. Dr. Liang stayed at Georgetown University to complete her doctorate degree. She then attended Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO for her post-graduate training. Dr. Liang completed residencies in pediatrics, adult neurology, and pediatric neurology.
She has special interests in medical education, neonatal neurology, general pediatric neurology, healthcare economics, and behavioral economics.
