Melissa Thik, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner.
She began her educational career at Reedley College to earn her associate degree within the LVN to RN Bridge program. She then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fresno Pacific University where she completed her RN program with high honors. To further her education, she returned to Fresno Pacific University for her Master of Science in Nursing where she became a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Melissa completed clinical rotations in women’s health, obstetrics and gynecology, family practice, and pediatrics. A couple of her core competencies include advocating for child abuse and patient and family education.
She has presented on the topic of sexually transmitted infections in high-risk patients as a part of her research projects.
