Fernando K. Cruz, MD, specializes in shoulder and elbow reconstruction.
Dr. Cruz attended UC Merced at the beginning of his educational career to earn his bachelor’s degree in bioengineering. He then pursued his medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine. Promptly after earning his medical degree, he came back to the Central Valley for his orthopaedic surgery residency at UCSF Fresno. To expand his breadth of knowledge, he moved to Los Angeles for his fellowship in shoulder and elbow reconstructive surgery.
Apart from his impressive medical and professional interests, he also enjoys volunteering in the local community. For example, he has served as an Assistant Team Physician for the Fresno FC Foxes soccer team.
When he’s not taking care of patients, you will find him participating in marital arts, weight lifting, hiking and playing the guitar.
