Alice Chen, MD, is fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology and specializes in obstetrics and gynecology.
At the beginning of her educational career, Dr. Chen attended UC San Diego to obtain her bachelor’s degree in human biology and then her master’s degree in neurobiology. She attended the Keck School of Medicine of USC to earn her doctorate degree. Shortly after, she moved out of California to further her medical education. Her obstetrics and gynecology residency was completed at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. Finally, Dr. Chen pursued two fellowships. She attended Emory University School of Medicine for an advanced pelvic surgery fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia, and the University of Virginia for a gynecologic oncology fellowship in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Chen’s research projects extend her obstetrics and gynecology medical education, covering topics such as uterine cancer, fertility treatment, and pregnancy. She is also passionate about serving her community as she led volunteer efforts regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion.
When she is not taking care of patients, you can find Dr. Chen traveling, camping, or skiing. She also enjoys reading, martial arts, and aquascaping.
