Gina Castanares is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic care.
She began her educational career at San Diego State University earning a Bachelor of Science in food and nutrition. Gina then attended the University of California, San Diego, to earn a master’s degree in advanced studies leadership of healthcare organizations. She then earned a second master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland.
During her time at Oregon Health & Science University, Gina completed clinical rotations in orthopaedic surgery, trauma and general surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cardiology.
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
