Drug abuse prevention should be less about drugs and
more about offering kids alternatives and teaching them to make better
choices.
JAZZ4KIDS
will perform at your
elementary schools to teach students about this truly American art form.
Concerts can be scheduled during school time and presented during a
school wide assembly. We can also schedule in the evenings so that
you can sell tickets and use this as a fundraiser.
The concert features jazz renditions
of songs kids are familiar with like themes from Sesame Street,
Flintstones and Pink Panther along with classics that kids will
recognize like The Entertainer, Moondance and Girl From Ipanema.
This is an educational program that
teaches kids about jazz, singing scat and the use of instruments.
To help make this and even more memorable experience and hopefully to
get more kids interested in jazz and music in general the concert
involves the children with audience participation.
