The aim of this organization is to
raise awareness of and money for drug abuse prevention and addictive
behaviors through better choices leading to better health. In terms of raising money we strive to limit expenses to 20%
so that 80% of the money raised can be used locally. Given that formula
and to insure that sufficient money is available at each level to cover
fundraising expenses, provisions for distribution of those funds are
given below.
The Local Coordinator shall:
1. Act as coordinator for INSPIREHealth.org within their
zip code or larger area if agreed to by the Home Office.
2. Forward our e-newsletters to their lists
3. Select a school and/or
organization to receive funds raised or use the funds to cover the costs
of implementing prevention programs authorized by the Home Office
4. Engage in fundraising efforts
in their practice and community.
5. Limit fundraising expenses to 10% whenever possible including;
mailing, postage, phone, autodialer use and educational materials
6. Submit balance sheets with income and expenses to the Home Office at
the end of each month.
7. Maintain a bank account under the corporate name in their state and
provide the Home Office with copies of statements and reports.
8. Forward 10% of all money
collected to the Home Office at the end of each month
9. Maintain records relating to
income and expenses in their local region. Software for this can be

10. Any educational materials that a Local Coordinator uses that make
reference to INSPIREHealth.org or Run Drugs Out of Town Run must first be authorized by the
Home Office
11. Abide by the local laws pertaining to fundraising and operation of a
non-profit organization
Rights and Responsibilities;
1. When using an autodialing system as an educational or fundraising
tool all messages to be used must first be authorized by the home
office. Use of an autodialer by a local coordinator will be done
so in accordance with local state and federal law and shall be the
responsibility of the local coordinator.
2. Clear any grant applications with the Home Office.
3. Be responsible for any indebtedness and activities created locally.
The Home Office (INSPIREHealth.org) shall:
1. Provide resources on health and drug abuse prevention for the office, schools
and businesses
2. Publish e-newsletter on prevention
3. Provide support with setting up local events and implementing our
programs in schools and the community.
4. Provide support with other fundraising events throughout the year
5. File registration forms with the states including but not limited to
registering INSPIREHealth.org as a foreign corporation,
tax exempt status, fund raising program and annual reports
6. File required tax returns, annual reports and or balance sheets with
the IRS and individual states including data from each of the Local
Coordinators in each state. Our tax year ends on March 22nd and all
forms should be submitted to the Home office by April 1st each year.
Any use of the name INSPIREHealth.org or Run Drugs Out of Town Run, while it may benefit my
practice will be done so in terms of health, drugs, drug abuse, drug abuse
prevention, addictive behavior or non-drug alternatives. I will perform
these duties in such a manner as to maintain the integrity and good name
of INSPIREHealth.org and Run Drugs Out of Town Run.
Failure to perform any of these duties and responsibilities shall
result in immediate termination with no right to appeal or pleading in
any court of law. This agreement may be terminated by either party upon
written notice.
I have read, understand and agree to the terms of this agreement. I
agree to act as a Local Coordinator for the zip code listed in my
address.
